Losing Control
i had enough
with all that
yelling,
shouting,
and rules
i hate all the
you cant do this, you can't do that
why target me
is it just because i'm the daughter
i'm just as valuable as all sons
why exclude me from
the games
the funs
i understand i'm a girl
not just a girl
but a daughter of a strict culture
i understand the rules
but
why not give me chance
to prove to you that
i, too, can do as much as your sons
just name it and i will try
but why aren't you seeing any of this in me
i'm disgusted to be placed in the same group with them
the many other daughters...
