The Loser, the Drummer, and the so called Kamikaze sister

Cecelia sitting comfortably on the comfy black leather sofa of the family room types away a mini-play on her laptop. The heat coming from the fireplace increases her anxiety of not going to be able to finish her story on time for the play-writing contest. Justin, her brother, sits to the left of her chatting away about drums and rock music. On the right, is Kamikaze, Cecelia younger sister who name is not to be known for she is so called a Japanese ninja, chats away about nonsense that she tries her best to ignore. It’s because listening to her talk will distract anyone out of what they are doing.

Cecelia
[Sits cross-legged on the comfy black leather sofa typing away.] Okay. I’m concentrating, concentrating, concentrating. [Two sentences were only typed on the screen.] Ah! [Screams]…Darn it woman! Concentrate. Relax. Clear your mind of all stress. You have to write this play. Make is good and you shall forever never be ignored!


Justin
[Looks over to where Cecelia was sitting and gives her a weird look] Well are you taking to yourself? You know you sound very much like a… [Puts on the thinking face. Grins]…mindless pathetic blabbering loser form of some sort of human being.


Cecelia
[Looks up angrily and offended] What the heck are you talking about? I’m concentrating here. Unlike you…[exaggerating the “you”] who are not doing anything but spend hours after hours starring at that magazine of drums.


Justin
[Smiles. Takes the blasting headphones of heavy metal rock music away from his ears.] So…it is very educational. Look here you can never find anything like this-


Cecelia
[Cuts off Justin’s sentence]Shut up. I don’t care.


Justin
Fine be like that. [Puts the headphones of blasting hard metal rock music back into his ears.]


Kamikaze
You know what you should be the one to shut up. [Looking down at her book.]



Cecelia
Get your nose out of this. This is only an A and B conversation. C your way out! [laughs] You know what? That was pretty clever.


Justin and Kamikaze
[Both looks at each other.]


Cecelia
[Blushes. Looks back to her laptop screen and sighs] Anyway I’m trying to write a good play for this play writing contest. The thing is…I don’t know what to write. [Puts on a thinking face.] Maybe I should write something about the transition to from one culture to another. [Smiles and jumps up] How about that? [Laptop gets knocked off] *thumps* [Bends down and picked up laptop.]



Justin
[mouth hangs open] you know what? I wonder if we really are from the same parents or did mom and them dropped you on your head by accident. [Laughs]


Cecelia
[shot over an evil look to justin] GO…*pause*…PLAY…*pause*…IN…*pause*…TRAFFIC


Justin
[Lower head down.] Sorry dear sister of mine. I will not, and I repeat [raises voice]
Will not take that fun away from you. You are the only match for thee game. [Laughs out loudly]


Cecelia
[Slams both hands on the arm of the sofa and screams.] Shut up with that incorrectly spoken lame British accent of yours!


Justin
[Puts on a serious face, stands up, and walks over to Cecelia. Bends arms at waste and bends down.] Excuse moi, madamemosille. It’s actually an old English accent of Shakespeare time. [Laughs and turn back around to his seat] Ok fine. How about you write about the life of our Kamikaze sister here.


Cecelia
Why is that? [Gives Justin a questioning looks.]



Justin
[Looks up and smile] Because she is very political. Let her talk to someone for about ten minute and she’ll be destroying their brain cells with each of her words.



Cecelia
And your point is…[screams]…how am I going to put that into a play.


Justin
[Stands up. Puts hands on her waste similar to a feminine pose] well like oh my god girl friend! She is good.


Kamikaze
[Screams] guess what?!


Justin and Cecelia
What?!


Kamikaze
[Puts a deathly pale scared face] oh my god!!! I forgot the “s” in Nebraska…[laughs] oh well I can just write it over again.


Cecelia
[Looks over to Justin and nod] Wow and you call intelligent?
